July 11th is approaching pretty fast. Last time around I stayed out of the iPhone arena. I still stand by my decision. I know I wasn’t one of the cool kids, but my apple addiction goes way beyond just a phone. Still a super fan since my first Macintosh 128.
This time around it’s different and I plan on showing up early to the AT&T store and getting on the bus. No Apple store here in Charleston yet, however one is coming to downtown soon.
My Sprint plan expired July 1st so no disconnect fee this time. My Treo is on it’s last leg and I need a new phone. Sprint introduced the Instinct with a huge video campaign that made it look appealing until you realized they are comparing to the last generation of iphones. Lame.
I’m in the process of developing a couple of iphone apps for work.. they will be helping with the data plan- what’s to lose?
I’m also looking forward to diving into it and getting connected via the Loopt network. Will post some connection info once I have it…
So who’s in?
I've spent most of my life in music and marketing. I currently work as an interactive marketing manager. I launched an indie label in 2004 with one artist and 11 songs. We now distribute over 30 artists and 600+ songs worldwide. I write music tracks for multiple tv/movie/music catalogs. No I can't tell you which ones... it's like ghost writing. I want to score a movie one day, indie is fine. I love the beach. I love loud music. I love my wife. I love my daughter and baby boy.
